Located south of Orlando and just south of Walt Disney World is Celebration Golf Club, an 18-hole championship course that was the last to be designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jr.
Located in the community of Celebration, the golf course winds through tall trees and wetlands, playing to a maximum yardage of 7,038 yards from the black tees with a tough slope/rating of 74.5/140. Celebration Golf Club has five total sets of tees, including a green tee that plays just 2,219 yards for junior and beginner players.
Celebration Golf Club's back nine features some especially secluded, scenic holes that play tightly through trees, between the 13th and 16th holes. The finishing hole is a long, difficult par 5 that plays as long as 574 yards. The course is water heavy, with only the 11th hole not having a water hazard of any kind.
Celebration Golf Club features a water driving range with floating greens, plus several putting and chipping greens as well as a pro shop and Windmill Restaurant, which is open daily until 7 p.m. and attracts non-golfers for lunch as well.
