Grand Cypress Resort features three nine-hole layouts and an 18-hole course modeled after the Old Course at St. Andrews. All of the holes were designed by Jack Nicklaus. The North, South and East nines offer a variety of holes with one constant: accuracy is more important than distance. Located on International Drive just north of Walt Disney World is Marriott's Grande Pines Golf Club. The course opened in 2003 and sits on the former site of the International Club, a Joe Lee design from 1986. The new course, designed by Steve Smyers and player consultant Nick Faldo, is entirely different and heavily shaped, full of large mounding, some water and severe bunkering.

Located south of Orlando, Celebration Golf Club was the last course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jr. It winds through tall trees and wetlands, playing to a maximum yardage of 7,038 yards from the black tees with a tough slope/rating of 74.5/140. The back nine features some especially secluded, scenic holes that play tightly through trees.

Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is a classic Florida design by Joe Lee featuring raised greens, subtle doglegs and water hazards. At 6,745 yards, it's the shortest (and, many say, easiest) of the Disney golf courses. Dating back to 1924, Dubsdread Golf Course is the oldest public option in Orlando. It received a fresh renovation in 2008 to keep it up to date with the tastes of the modern player. The International at the Omni Resort at ChampionsGate is something of a links-style course with fast running fairways, chipping and putting options from off the greens and more than 160 bunkers, many of them deep and penal. Still, even though the course has a design reminiscent of British Open-style golf, it still retains the natural topography of the land with marshes, wetlands and plenty of Florida wildlife.
