Located south of Orlando, Celebration Golf Club was the last course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jr. It winds through tall trees and wetlands, playing to a maximum yardage of 7,038 yards from the black tees with a tough slope/rating of 74.5/140. The back nine features some especially secluded, scenic holes that play tightly through trees.

Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is a classic Florida design by Joe Lee featuring raised greens, subtle doglegs and water hazards. At 6,745 yards, it's the shortest (and, many say, easiest) of the Disney golf courses. It winds through the Old Key West Resort on the front nine, while the back side takes on a more secluded feel, playing through canals and forest.

Dating back to 1924, Dubsdread Golf Course is the oldest public option in Orlando. It received a fresh renovation in 2008 to keep it up to date with the tastes of the modern player. Thankfully, the course still has all the traits of its classic design: narrow fairways and "postage stamp" greens, putting a premium on accuracy.

The International at the Omni Resort at ChampionsGate is something of a links-style course with fast running fairways, chipping and putting options from off the greens and more than 160 bunkers, many of them deep and penal. Still, even though the course has a design reminiscent of British Open-style golf, it still retains the natural topography of the land with marshes, wetlands and plenty of Florida wildlife.

The Championship course at Bay Hill Club & Lodge, one of Florida's top tracks, was recently reconstructed by a team led by course owner and resident Arnold Palmer. "The opinion is that we make courses harder and harder," Palmer said of the project. "We decided to rethink that."

Walt Disney World is the epicenter of Florida tourism and is home to 81 holes. Golf has been around at Disney World since the beginning. The Palm and Magnolia courses opened with the Magic Kingdom in 1971 and since then, four other courses have been added.
