Dubsdread Golf Course
Orlando is generally not associated with history, making Dubsdread Golf Course such a unique central Florida play. Located just a few miles north of downtown Orlando off I-4, it is the oldest area public option, dating back to 1924. The course received a fresh renovation in 2008 to keep it up to date with the tastes of the modern player. Dubsdread still has all the traits of its classic design: narrow fairways and "postage stamp" greens, putting a premium on accuracy.
A former site of the Orlando Open, Dubsdread Golf Course has hosted such players as Sam Snead, Ben Hogan and Claude Harmon.
