Stoneybrook West Golf Course is unique in that its terrain is entirely flat, which is not a rare occurrence in Florida, but the golf course seems to have a strangely linear quality. The course's designer, Arthur Hills, utilized the flatness of the terrain to create a desert-style golf course that is reminiscent of those found in the Midwest. Stoneybrook West Golf Course takes great pride in its greens, offering some of the best putting surfaces in Florida. The layout also features greenside bunkering and contoured fairways, trademarks of Hills' designs. Lakes and ponds border the fairways and greens, providing water hazards throughout. Stoneybrook West Golf Course was formerly a citrus grove and it provides views of nearby groves to the west and the south.

I have played the course three times the last few weeks.Very good layout and well manicured. The greens are a bit slow and rough . Bag drop reception disorganized and requires attention.I enjoyed the course.

I have played this course many times. Although I am only a beginner, I have played at another course and found that this one is a very well kept course. They over-seeded about a month ago and it looks really nice. The new ownership (Celebration Golf Management) has done a wonderful job rebuilding this course and club house from it's past neglect. They have a nice dining area with a full bar and full menu. Lunch is served from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. They serve pretty much anything you may want before or after a round of golf. From burgers to wraps to salads. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is not a lot of scenery, but there are plenty of very attractive homes surrounding this very challenging course.
