Greens are rough shape
Choose layout was good and pace of play was great but the greens were in very bad shape
will be interesting
A long ride fr disney/kiss. area, but we believe worth it. We're told that cypress will be rebuilt 'cause the membership wants a change; and, that oaks is also to be improved -- something about the greens and bugs.
Course greens not maintained
The Cypress course at Stonegate has patches an many of greens which makes it difficult to putt.
Crappy Greens
They warned us that the green's were recently aerified. What they did not tell us was they were also in horrible shape...plenty of bare spots, huge areas on greens where turf has been replaced and more than their share of weeds. Frankly the greens ruined the day.

I really liked it!
Once I figured out how to get to the Pro Shop and then to Hole #1, it was an easy process. I'm not sure if it's against the rules of the property, but a few signs directing you to the Pro Shop would have been helpful as well as signs getting you to #1. The cart staff gives verbal directions, but they were a bit vague("look for the green electric box"), well there are more than one green electric boxes and I ended up on #18. The starter was very helpful and even drove out to the fairway of #1 because he forgot to tell me about the random repairs on the greens happening.
Anyway, the course was in great shape considering how much rain we've had and we were allowed to drive 90 degrees, where many courses are cart path only. Most fairways are nice and wide so playing from the short grass was easy to do. Due to the morning rain, it appears the green weren't cut because they were slow, I never did get the hang of the lack of speed on the greens. Overall, very happy with everything and will definitely play again.

We will be back
First time playing here. The starter was great. Gave us lots of useful and important information. We were a 2-some. When we arrived at the 1st tee, a 4-some was waiting to tee off. The starter asked the 4-some if they would let us play first. 3 hours and 10 minute round for us. Some of the tee boxes are thin, but that is why you use a tee. Greens are good. Fairways are mostly good. Well worth the $36. We will happily play it again.

First time playing this course and will definitely be back. Great staff in the pro shop and the starter gave us some great tips before we started. We are in the area for work and trying to hit every different course we can, but after playing Cypress today they will be seeing us multiple times until January.

Not so good.
The greens are really bad. The practice is area needs work. No putting green. There is a lot of work going on at the course. Hope it gets better.

With not much rain the last few months and the watering restrictions course is a bit hard and dry as to be expected. The real downside though are the greens, many patches of weeds and dead spots. Hopefully it will come back with some work

Great value
The course itself was in great condition, except for the greens, which appeared to have some kind of a disease causing bare areas. The pace of play was excellent. A course map would have been helpful to know where the sand traps and hazards were . Also better signage would have helped to better find some of the holes. The course was a great value at $45 to play it on a Sunday afternoon.

Fun course
The course was typical with other Florida courses. Some greens were missing grass. I'm used to playing up north were the greens are green and the grass in the fairways and rough needs to be mowed daily. I've never seen a mower doing the fairways in Florida.

Great Day Of Golf
Tee boxes, fairways and bunkers in very good shape. The greens were very fast, but they were full of patches. Overall the course is in good shape, will play again.

Love this course and plan to play it again. Fairly priced. Lot of dog legs. There are two different gates to enter complex make certain you go to the correct one.

A bit disappointed
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Because of the rain the past couple of days, the fairways were still wet and it was cart path only (understandably so...no problem). The layout was fairly challenging: lots of water and bunkers in all the right places. Unfortunately, the greens were in bad shape and ruined the round: several greens had large bare spots, some greens were in repair, and poa annua has taken over the greens, causing them to be very bumpy. As another player previously commented, you "putt and pray".

Fun course
A bit windy today. Some challenging holes, so bring your A game. A couple of greens were in rough shape. With the course layout, we felt like we were the only ones on the course. Never had anyone in front of us, so played a casual 4 hour round, with some extra practice shots and never had anyone come up behind us. Very enjoyable day and will definitely come back.

A lot of driving
A little confusing when you first get in and getting going I do agree with others about needing better signage all around got lost trying to find my car after the 18th The course needs some watering greens need a lot of help loved the course but the biggest issue was too many 2 balls so a lot of waiting and others in a rush with no where to go hitting into us
