One of two championship golf courses at Mission Inn Golf & Tennis Resort, located west of Orlando in Howey in the Hills, El Campeon, Spanish for "The Champion," is one of Florida's oldest courses, dating back to 1917. Chicagoan George O'Neil was the original designer, while Charles E. Clark from Scotland redesigned the course in 1926.
The course features 85 feet of elevation changes, rare for Central Florida and traditional Florida golf design with sand and finger lakes dotted throughout the golf course.
