The golf course carefully winds through protected wetlands and nature preserves. There are also several natural lakes scattered throughout that come into play on ten holes. The course's signature moss-draped oaks, some of which are over 100 years old, line the rolling fairways along with cypress trees. The golf course's naturally verdant terrain attracts plenty of wildlife, including wild turkeys eagles, and beavers. Oaks National Golf Club's signature hole is the par-4 seventh hole, which features a dogleg left fairway and it requires a shot over water.

Previous reviews are old news. This course has all new greens that are in excellent shape. Traps and fairways are greatly improved under the watchful eye of new management. The transformation of this course from July 2016 is unbelievable.

The friendliness of the staff is second to none.

First vacation to Florida and we tried to play this course after a brief rain. This is a swamp with less swampy areas they call greens...Played with a teacher from Ontario and we got most of our money back after getting stuck in mud on the second hole...Kissimmee golf should take the management of this course to task for taking advantage of unsuspecting tourists....One star is being generous.....oh we didn't see an alligator.... even they would not play there.....

This course used to be one of my favorite courses to play when I came to Fl. and I come at least once a yera with my buddies, prior to 2012 the course was excellent, the 6th hole always gave me problems, but since 2013 someone bough the development and has not keept the course in shape, too bad, I won't play there anymore.

This course used to be one of the better courses in the area, and the new management is working very hard to bring it back like it was. I play every week and can see the effort. The greens are getting better every week. The staff is still the best!

Played 02/11/13. Very disappointed with the condition of course although the staff was very good, curtious and friendly. Green on the greens was non-existant as well as the fairways. Almost feel sorry for them after spending millions to bring back conditions! If your looking for a very inexpensive course to play in Kissimmee with alot of fairway roll, this is your course.

I played on July 15, 2012. This course used to be one of the better courses in the area, but somehow management has turned it in to a "dog track". I didn't find grass on a green until the 15th hole and it was scarce. They had just mowed after two weeks and left clumps of grass piled in the rough so impossible to find a ball in the rough. I won't play this course again, even if it is free!

I recently played Kissimmee Oaks Golf Course as part of seven courses I played in the Orlando area in July. Harmony, Hawks' Landing, Champions' Gate International and National, Mystic Dunes and Falcon's Fire were all in excellent condition and were great golf experiences. Kissimmee Oaks was in terrible condition. The fairways were unevenly cut, the roughs were in equally bad shape, the greens were below average, there were no rakes in most of the traps, and where there were rakes, they were broken. The course is not worth playing. The owner needs to spend some money fixing the course up and keeping it well maintained.
