One of the proverbial best-kept secrets among those who visit the Orlando area, this daily fee golf course, which opened in 1994, is a favorite among locals. Design by the firm of Clifton, Ezell & Clifton, Forest Lake Golf Club is void of homes, well conditioned and features plenty of solid if unspectacular holes. With five sets of tees and generous fairways, the course really does cater to all levels of players. The golf course also follows the naturally flat terrain of the land with the exception of the greens complexes, which are a real strength both in terms of conditioning and interest. Forest Lake Golf Club also makes good use of water hazards and trees in a parkland-like setting.
