Golf Pros

Greater Orlando is home to at least 30 PGA Tour pros, eight Senior Tour pros and more than 10 LPGA pros including: Helen Alfredsson, Brad Bryant, John Cook, Nick Faldo, Se Ri Pak, Frank Nobilo, Scott Hoch, Skip Kendall, Emilee Klein, Mark O'Meara, Barb Mucha, Arnold Palmer, Corey Pavin, Ted Tryba and Tiger Woods.

Also making Orlando their home are U.S. Open champions Ernie Els and Lee Janzen.

The Bay Hill Invitational presented by Office Depot in March. The National Car Rental Classic on selected Walt Disney World golf courses in October. LPGA's JcPenney Afterschool Open at The Villas of Grand Cypress in January.

Golf Shows The PGA Merchandise Show is held annually at the Orange County Convention Center in January.

Many facilities arrange group golf tournaments and even include challenging nighttime golf. For those who don't know the difference between a fairway and a freeway, many Orlando golf academies can customize golf instructions for groups or individuals.
