Location. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, located in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., is an African themed wildlife reserve positioned two miles from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The resort stands one mile from Disney's Blizzard Beach water park.
Hotel Features. Featuring thatched roofs and African artifacts, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is located on 33 acres of savannah where African wildlife graze freely. Resort dining options include African and American cuisine served at Jiko The Cooking Place, American style quick service offered at The Mara food court, and African buffets prepared at Boma Flavors of Africa. Uzima Springs Pool Bar offers refreshments at the outdoor pool complex. This complex features a zero entry pool, a 67 foot slide, and spa tubs. Zahanati Massage and Fitness Center offers spa treatments such as facials and massage therapy.
