The Sanctuary Golf Course at Pennbrooke Fairways

The Sanctuary is one of three nines at Pennbrooke Fairways in Leesburg, which is located less than an hour from Orlando. It's a regulation golf course while the other nines, the Meadows and the Oaks, are both executive courses. The Sanctuary's signature feature is the 500-foot bridge that spans a protected wildlife area and swamp, which also means it doesn't have the same walkability that the other courses do. The golf course itself offers a rigorous test of your distance, accuracy, and putting skills. Strategically placed bunkers abound and you'll also find water hazards and marshland coming into play frequently. The course's two par 5s are the most challenging holes. On the first you'll encounter a an unforgiving narrow landing area and on the second there is a water hazard and lateral hazard all along the left side in addition to a slew of bunkers around the green.
